Only One Reason for Hope

We are continually reminded of the brevity of life. We pick up our own local newspaper and read of young people who have lost their lives. We look at the political polls and realize that non of the candidates have a majority favorable rating. The portion of Scripture that we are going to look at declare to us that Jesus is our only hope. The plan of salvation that God instituted is absolutely incredible. Jesus has paid the price, once and for all. There is no need for us to pay it through penance, purgatory or Jesus being resacrificed. Jesus has paid it once and for all and we can find hope, that in spite of what we see around us, our eternal destiny is secure and we can live our lives.
