Panentheism – What is panentheism
365
Panentheism…What is it? How is panentheism different than pantheism? The word panentheism is derived from Greek words, pan (all) en (in) theos (God). God is greater than the universe, the universe is in God and the universe is part of God. The God of Panentheism is a God who changes with the universe and is finite instead of infinite. The world is God's body.
According to the Bible, God is immutable. God does not change who he is. God is not everything. God is not part of his creation. He is omnipresent but that does not mean that he is part of everything. Panentheism denies God's transcendent nature. Panentheism denies miricles and even the incarnation of Christ.
