The First Sign: The Wedding at Cana

Today we enter into the second chapter of the Gospel of John, in which we have recorded the first “sign of seven that John records in his Gospel, which reveal the glory of Jesus Christ and what God was doing through Him in His world. There is more conveyed to us in this episode than just a miracle that Jesus had performed. It was a sign of what Jesus christ was bringing into the world, the blessed state of salvation which is to be celebrated as those at a great wedding feast.
