The Immutable Law of Remission

If you examine the Old Testament you will be overwhelmed with the shedding of blood. To come to the tabernacle or to the temple was to be focused on death and bloodshed as types of God's justice being satisfied in the sacrifices. Almost everything under the law was purged by the offering of blood. In the gospel there is no exception; there is only the shedding of Christ's blood as surety of the elect.
