Our Lord was very fond of the title used in this text; He could speak of Himself in multiple, glorious titles; Our Lord was highly exalted and majestic yet He preferred to be called the Son of man. He desired to bless and honor the seed of Adam as chosen by His Father in eternity past. How majestic to see the blessed Savior and Messiah offer himself as the son of man.
