God Declares His Predestination

The Old Testament is in the New Testament and vice versa. What the NT declares the OT illustrates and prophesies. Here, God's predestining will is central. Jacob and Esau are predestined to be the fathers of conflict in the Middle East. Jacob is predestined to be the typical head of God's elect people. Christ will come out of Jacob but will be tormented by an offspring of Esau.
