It worked for them

67

Cornelius was a gentile who lived in a city that was mostly Jewish. Peter was a Jewish man who had never truly considered gentiles as candidates for salvation. But when the Holy Spirit directed he went where he was sent. When he arrived at this gentile home he didn’t have a copy of the New Testament. He was however an eyewitness. That day Peter told Cornelius his personal testimony and it worked for them. The Holy Ghost brought conviction and these gentiles were saved. When God moves the devil counter moves. Peter returned home and was in trouble for preaching to gentiles. But he had brought witnesses to the glory of God. And their testimony worked to convince them it works. Does it work for you?
