Christ's Scepter

The angels are God's servants who carry out His will in a glorious way, however, the Son is the heir and director of everything that happens. The angels serve His throne, they bow to His righteous standard, they fight against everything that He defines as sin, and they marvel at His work and wisdom in raising up believers to serve as joint heirs with Him to His throne. It is Christ's scepter that is exalted over all things and He is presently reigning in accordance with His eternal revealed will.
