The Gift of Peace

When we yield our burdens to the LORD, He is pleased to give us far more than we deserve or even desire. Such is the testimony of Hannah, whose brokenness over barrenness led her to trust in God, no matter what the outcome. Hannah’s hope in God, not merely in what she hoped to get from Him, still encourages us today: “There is none holy like the LORD; there is none besides you; there is no rock like our God.” 1 Samuel 2:2 (ESV) Are you burdened by worry, fear or unfulfilled expectations? Most of are from time to time. God’s faithfulness to Hannah is a powerful reminder of His presence and compassion toward those who cast their cares upon Him.
