Forgetting Failures

85 ( 70 | 15 )

Paul could have let guilt cripple him in his life for what he had previously done!

Paul had imprisoned Christians and Christians had died as a result. He had violently opposed the early believers because of their faith in Jesus.
Paul had blood on his hands and the guilt of his past could have crippled his future.
Paul had to accept the forgiveness he had in Christ, for all of the heinous sins that he had committed against the early believers and against God Himself.

When we understand that Christ died for our sins we can be free of the guilt of the past.

If God could forgive Paul for his terrible past, then God can forgive us if we have placed our faith in Christ.
