A Plea to Gospel Travelers
Series Philippians
116 ( 50 | 66 )
As a nation of immigrants, America has many cities with their own versions of places called “Chinatown,” or “Little Italy.” Have you been to any of these places? If so, you’ve noticed that their residents act differently, have unique ways of doing things, and even hold different beliefs from people elsewhere in the same city. This is how the Christian is to live in the world today – as citizens of a heavenly country. When others look at us and our church, they should get a clear and strong sense of the kingdom of Christ. “Only let your conduct be worthy of the gospel of Christ...” Philippians 1:27 (NKJV) These few words provide a basis for understanding Philippians 1:28 – 2:18.
