Responsibilities As Slaves

In the context of this letter the apostle Paul is writing to slaves who are believers and as such how they should regard their masters and do their work of service. In summary: 1) believers are to be showing proper respect and honor for their master; 2) believers are to be well-pleasing and not argumentative, and trustworthy; 3) believers are to do their work with a desire to do what is right, not just look good, working as for the Lord, not men; and 4) seeking to honor God realizing the testimony of the Gospel is at stake. Such instruction is well put into application by those who are employees as well.
