AIDS, Orphans & the Church

Special Guest Host Today: Dan Cruver – Director of Together for Adoption.

On today's program, Dan will discuss global HIV/AIDS orphan crisis with Dr Susan Hillis - Senior HIV Scientist, Division of Reproductive Health, Centers for Disease Control.

After that conversation he will speak with Dr. Karyn Purvis - Director of the Institute of Child Development at Texas Christian University about what it means to adopt children from hard places.

And finally, Dan will speak with Elizabeth Styffe - Director of Saddleback's HIV/AIDS Initiative about the central role the church must play in caring for these orphans in particular and vulnerable children in general.

During the program today, Dan will be giving away copies of "Adopted for Life" by Dr. Russell Moore.
