Resist Temptation

Purpose: To biblically and boldly confront three kinds of lies that temptation tells us, so that we can truly resist temptation and mortify sin.

1.) Resist temptation based upon the lie that you need to sin in order to survive (v.2-4)
2.) Resist temptation based upon the lie of pleasure for the moment (v.5-8)
3.) Resist temptation based upon the lie of God’s Word out of context (v.9-12)
