Streams in the Desert

In Isaiah 35 the Holy Spirit inspired prophet declares that when the Lord comes to save His people, the contrast in their hearts and lives will be so great that it is as if the barren desert has bloomed and the wasteland of the wilderness has blossomed! Consequently, no matter how dry, desolate or desperate the various seasons of our lives may ever seem to be, as we consider this text together through the lens of the Good News of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, we find ourselves rejoicing in the fact that God has graciously promised to provide for His people Streams in the Desert!
