What is Your Assurance?

The apostle provided a definition, saying, "Faith Is". Several components make up his definition but the first is "substance". This is a perfect place to begin. Substance is the support behind the scene. It's the thing that gives confidence and assurance. It appears in 1:3 saying, Jesus is "upholding all things". Being so, predestination and sovereignty are real. That's the believer's assurance.
