Where Have All The Heroes Gone?

When we consider the great number of "fallen heroes" in the world of professional sports, politics and entertainment, it is very easy to become greatly discouraged. Yet, even in the midst of such sobering and discouraging times, we need look no further than the Sacred Scriptures in order to discover that there is only one, true, ultimate Hero who will never fall or fail or forsake us in time and for all eternity, and His Name is Jesus Christ! And to the extent that all Christians everywhere proclaim Christ to their neighbors as well as to the nations, many millions near and far will find that they, too, will have their sins forgiven, their oppressive guilt removed, their souls saved, and they will no longer need to be asking themselves the despairing question: "Where Have All the Heroes Gone?"
