What an Elder Must be, a Man Should be

Since Titus has been instructed to work toward the appointment of elders in the churches in Crete, the first instructions Paul gives him define the qualifications of a man who is to be an elder. These qualifications define what an elder MUST be, but also what a man of God SHOULD be. Therefore, this sermon also uses these qualifications to exhort men--and young men!--to proactively pursue godliness, for the sake of Christ, His church, and families. And, in the end, these qualifications are perfectly fulfilled in Christ Himself.
