Benjamin, the Wolf

Benjamin is 'Little Benjamin,' the baby of the family. He is visible through much of the last part of Genesis, yet in a passive way, serving as a foil for Reuben, Judah, Joseph and Jacob. His descendants are far from passive, from Ehud the Judge, through the Benjamites of the last three chapters of Judges, King Saul, Esther and Mordecai. Saul of Tarsus, a Benjamite, ceases to be a wolf and becomes a shepherd on the Road to Damascus.
