Christ is All and in All

Christ is all and in all. Why this emphasis? Because we, as His people, have been raised with Christ and we must mortify – 'put to death' – the temptations of our earthly nature. What Christ has killed in the Cross we must kill in putting on our behavior of holiness. If our thoughts are filled with earthly matters, then the sense of Christ's love and His glory will not abide in us. Our focus can too often wander around the corners of earth.
