The Rock of Escape

Many are the afflictions of the righteous. The answer to pain is not denial or a stiff upper lip. David continues to go through much suffering and the pressure is mounting. We look at the kind providence of God in bringing Jonathan to David when Saul was unable to locate him. We look at the wonderful timing of a Sovereign Lord throughout this passage and are challenged to look to the precious promises of God and not circumstances.
