SUMMARY: As mediator of the Covenant of Works, Adam's covenant promise was symbolized by the Tree of Life. As prophet, he was to proclaim the Way to the Tree, The Truth of the Tree, and the Life of the Tree, which would be the promise, or reward, for his obedience.
