Mystery Babylon

The world is changing at an alarming rate, especially in terms of knowledge. A man by the name of Buckminster Fuller created the “Knowledge Doubling Curve.” He noticed that by the year 1900 AD, human knowledge had doubled every century. However, by the end of World War II he noted human knowledge was doubling every 25 years.
Today things are not as simple. Different types of knowledge have different rates of growth. For example, knowledge in nanotechnology doubles every two years. Clinical knowledge doubles every 18 months. While the average growth in human knowledge doubles every 13 months. According to IBM, knowledge will soon double every 12 hours.
With knowledge accelerating at staggering rates, rapid change is not far behind. Therefore, the question must be asked, “How will this change impact the world? Scripture tells us, the world will eventually unify. Revelation 17 and 18 describes the world becoming a “Mystery Babylon” and depicts it as a global rebellion against God. This message will examine the spiritual aspects this coming kingdom.
