Our Great Need to Learn to Pray

Perhaps nothing so contradicts our profession of faith more than little prayer. If we are the helpless destitute, utterly insufficient sinners we claim to be, and if divine obligation and duties are truly what the Scripture states them to be, and if we desire to grow in godliness, see our loved ones saved, and witness the kingdom of God come then we ought to be mighty in prayer. God is pleased to accomplish His purposes through the prayers of His people.
