Two of the men used by God in the 1859 Revival in Ulster were members of the Orange Order - Rev Hugh Hanna and Jeremiah Meneely.
The preaching of the 1859 Revival emphasised four great truths -
- The Sufficiency of Holy Scripture
- The Sovereignty of the Holy Spirit
- The Secret of Holy Supplication
- The Sacrifice of the Holy Saviour
