Hebrews - an introduction

Theology is important, and the more you know, the more clearly you will see what God has done to bring about your salvation.

The Old Testament is full of prophecies, typologies, covenants, prophets, priest, and kings that all act as arrows pointing to the one who would fulfill them all: the Christ. Jesus Christ is the prophet, priest, king, sacrifice. He is better than the angels, Moses, or anything that the Old Covenant had to offer. Through Jesus, we have a covenant that has been made by God and accomplished by God on our behalf. Jesus took the curse that our sin deserved, and gave us the blessing of righteousness which He earned. There is no other place, person, or system to find salvation in outside of Jesus Christ.
