Nailed to the Cross

What would it take for you to believe and follow Jesus? What could convince you to "take up
your cross." What is the meaning of the cross? What is it's power? These verses explain the
diversity of the power of the cross – sins are nailed and blotted out and the powers and
principalities are disarmed. We are told that the power of the cross is exerted in highly defined
and particular, and very personal ways. John tells us that these things were written "that you
might believe." Following are eight things that happen in the life of the believer affecting every
