Unto Him Be Glory in the Church

We have been discussing the Lord is worthy of our worship. Now, we study, how God describes the church as the place where glory is given to Him. The place is in His church. We discuss how and why the church is important to Paul. We look at Paul's relationship to the church. He is baptized, he sought the authority of, he was a member of, he reported back to his church. We also look at the definition of a church. We briefly look at the word translated church. We see the church is an assembly. We look at the calling out of the apostles. We see how they were concerned about the earthly kingdom of Christ. Then,we see Christ revealing His spiritual kingdom. We look at Matthew 16, to see the promise of Christ to build His church. We take a look at several characteristics of the Lord's church. Finally, we look at the diminishing of the glory of Christ. We see we should refrain from anything which would hide the glory of Christ.
