Called to Suffer

Trevor Johnson, missionary to the jungle tribes of Papua Indonesia, challenges us with Peter's reminder that we have been called to suffer with Christ. Trevor practices what he preaches. He has had malaria mutiple times, dengue fever, skin diseases, stomach problems; his wife and children have also been sick often; he lives in constant humidity, heat and sweat; he lives in a remote jungle and has relatively few modern amenities; he has been threatened and physically attacked. But he suffers with joy because of His love for Christ and His desire to see Christ glorified amongst the Korowai tribal people of Papua.
