When the dead are raised

There are eight specific resurrections listed in the Bible and three of those times we are shown Jesus having personally raised the dead. Here in our text we are shown what happens when the dead are raised. Specifically the word used here 'bodies' meaning as a sound whole- complete, not just the physical body but the body, soul, and now LIVING spirit. In each of the three resurrections Jesus performed shows various aspects of what happens when our spirits are raised to life. What it is that God has done- the very signs of life, a NEW life at that. We were born spiritually dead but as Ephesians 2:1 "you hath he quickened, who were dead", that word quickened means to be made alive.
