Mark: Jesus' Authority in Teaching & Over Demons

- V21: The Jewish people worship on the Sabbath which is the seventh day. Christioans worship on the first day of the week. It is not appropriate to move the Jewish Sabbath teachings to use those on the Christian worship on the first day
- V22: Jesus did not have the educational "degrees", but yet His teaching had authority that the Jewish leadership did not exhibit and the peple listening were astonished!
- V23: Demons are fallen angels who are serving Satan.
- V24: Satan and demons try to disrupt God and Jeses' teaching wherever possible.
- V25: The demon clearly recognized who Jesus was, but Jesus' own received Him not. Jesus did not allow the demon to porclaim who Jesus was.
- V26: Demons can cause phyiscal harm as shown here.
- V27: People were amazed that even unclean spirits had to obey Jesus!
- V28: The entire region heard abotu the teaching authority of Jeses! Notice that it does not say people "belived". Miracles do not bring belief, faith is required.
