We are addressing the prelude to the ministry of Jesus, which is set forth in John 1:19-51. Today we again consider the important witness to Jesus of John the Baptist. We address the important doctrine of the extent of the atonement of Jesus Christ as He is declared by John to be “The Lamb of God that takes away the sin of the world” (1:29).
