Universal Redemption

156

We believe very strongly in the doctrine of Particular Redemption. We believe the Bible teaches that Jesus Christ came into the world and took upon Himself a human body, that He might die for the redemption of God’s elect people. We must believe either that:
1.CHRIST DIED FOR ALL THE SINS OF ALL PEOPLE THEREFORE ALL GO TO HEAVEN
2. CHRIST DIED FOR ONLY SOME OF THE SINS FOR ALL PEOPLE THEREFORE NONE ARE REDEEMED BUT ALL GO TO HELL
3. CHRIST DIED FOR ALL THE SINS OF SOME PEOPLE AND THEY ALL GO TO HEAVEN
Isaiah 53:11-12; Matt. 20:28;Matthew 26:28 For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.

We measure the design of the death of Christ by BOTH its SCOPE its EFFECT. Christ did not died to make redemption POSSIBLE, He died to make it CERTAIN.

I. CHRIST’S REDEMPTION IS UNIVERSAL IN BOTH ITS SCOPE AND EFFECT ON ALL KINDS OF PEOPLE
Rev. 7:9; Rev.14:6; John 3:16;1 John 2:2; Isaiah 11:10; 42:1,6; 49:6; 60:3 Mal. 1:11 Matt.12:21;Luke 2:32;Acts 9:15; Gal. 3:14 Eph. 3:6;1 Tim. 2:4
II. CHRIST’S DEATH IS UNIVERSAL IN EFFECT ON THE PHYSICAL UNIVERSE
A. THE BODILY RESURRECTION OF THE SAINTS

B. THE RESTORED UNIVERSE
