The Believer's Long War Against Sin - Part 2

The sin nature does not disappear when we are saved. Sin is strong and subtle and our flesh is attracted to forbidden things. When we lust for that which God forbids we leave our place of safety and are carried into sinful thoughts and deeds which lead to death. To be victorious over sin, we must mortify the flesh continually. God shows us in His Word how to do this and He gives us the power to not let sin have dominion over us.
