Romans Chapter 15 overview: Paul is changing the theme from considering other people first over yourself to the topic of the role and place of the Roman church and what Christianity is all about.

14 And I myself also am persuaded of you, my brethren, that ye yourselves are full of goodness, filled with all knowledge, able also to admonish one another. The Roman church is full of goodness and able to admonish (love each other, bring each other up in the spirit, raise each other's self esteem) one another.
15 But I write the more boldly unto you in some measure, as putting you again in remembrance, because of the grace that was given me of God, I'm writing these things to you in love, be they positive or negative. In your Christian life you will be put upon to tell someone something that is not nice, but should be said in Christian love. 16 that I should be a minister of Christ Jesus unto the Gentiles, ministering the gospel of God, that the offering up of the Gentiles might be made acceptable, being sanctified by the Holy Spirit. Paul understood thoroughly that he is to be the apostle to the Gentiles. Paul reminds both the Jews and the Gentiles that offering up of the Gentiles is acceptable, and that the Gentiles are getting God's blessings as well. The Jews then and now believe they are the only chosen ones, not the Gentiles, and Paul has to remind them that there are chosen Gentiles as well. Everyone who has Jesus Christ in their heart act different than they did before, trying to behave nicer and kinder to everyone around them. We are not better than anyone else, only more serene. 17 I have therefore my glorifying in Christ Jesus in things pertaining....
