To the Church in Sardis

To be a good church that church must be strong, alive and awake. The church at Sardis was evaluated to be comatose and dead. What is significant about this church is not what is said, but what is not said. Jesus gives this church:

1. His evaluation of the church, verse 1
2. His exhortation to this church, verses 2-3
3. Some encouragement to this church, verse 4
4. And a promise to those who overcome. verses 5-6
