The Lukewarm Church

The final letter to the churches was to the church in Laodicea. Here we find a church that is lukewarm in its love to Christ. In this can easily hide those who are false converts in great danger. Here we find a clear message to the evangelical church in the UK, at least, where we are clearly lacking in zeal for Him.
How can we fix this? Christ points us to seek after Him and then He will be with us. This is the great desire of the church, that in heaven we will be with Christ forever.
