God's Comfort in Sickness Pt 1

This is a very personal message; forged through years of trying to understand why God would allow my wife, Vickie, to endure decades of disease that has kept her from doing things that she once loved to do. At times, it has appeared to us that God was sidelining her and keeping her from fully using the very spiritual gifts that He gave to her. By the end of these two messages, I desire that you will have joined us in our journey to draw close to the God of our comfort and have the hope you need to rejoice in the midst of long-term suffering. During these messages, I want to help you understand that 1) God IS the God of all comfort and 2) He wants you to glorify Him by reflecting that reality in your life and the lives of those around you. This foundational truth and its application is so clearly articulated by the Holy Spirit through Paul in 2 Corinthians 1:3-7.
