Judgment Starts at the House of God

The local church is the Supreme Court of God on Earth today. Matt.18:-1-18

The world is judged (condemned) by the preaching of Word of God today, just as the world was condemned by the preaching of Noah.

The Lord's Supper is an ordinance both of rememberance and of judgment. We remember the Lord's death by the Supper, but we are to judge ourselves and each other before we eat the supper. I Cor.5:7-13; 11:17-32.

This is the reason why the Supper is be restricted to a local church assembly. It must not only be those who have been regenerated and scripturally baptized, but they must also be living in fellowship with the Lord and each other.

When we have been regenerated by the Holy Spirit, we repent of our sins and bow at the footstool of Jesus Christ and own Him as our Sovereign Lord and Saviour.
