The Fiery Bronze Serpent

What idols are you trusting in for your salvation? Pastor Simpson answers the question asking, what picture do we see in the fiery bronze serpent and how does it relate to Christ? Additionally, and more importantly, Pastor answers the question which asks, was the Lord Jesus teaching that man has an open invitation to look to Christ for salvation? If it be that the Lord is suggesting that salvation is man's will, all they must do is look unto Jesus, than election cannot be true and the work of Christ could not have been finished! We notice that verses 8 and 9 of the 21St chapter of Numbers does not invite people to look upon the fiery serpent, it explicitly states, 'when he', he that is bitten, 'looketh upon it, he shall live.'
