Our Living Hope

About one year ago, on a Wednesday night, I preached a message entitled, "A Pastor's Reflection upon His Life." I made the statement at that time that I thought it would possibly be the last time people would see a message on "Sermon Audio" with my name attached. This week I was given word that no cancer was seen in my cat scan and to come back in six months. I was rejoicing and when Jon, who is experiencing the last effects of a cold, called this morning and asked if I would fill in for him tonight, I was quick to say yes.
Our lesson tonight will be on "Our Living Hope", and what to expect. The Lord is faithful to tell us before about what we are to expect so when it comes to pass we will be confident that He is really God. But for the believers, we are able to prepare ourselves in Christ to face the trials we are called to go through. I pray that those of you who are listening tonight will meditate on God's word as we each examine ourselves. God bless you and may we open our hearts to receive what He has for us.
