When Jesus said, “how can you believe if you receive honor from one another, and do not seek the honor that comes from the only God? ” (v44), he was referring to the greatest obstacle to belief in Jesus. It is not intellectual argument or scientific data that keeps people from believing in and following Christ. It is simply our pride wants honor from man.
