Responding to Sin Against Us

Sin never occurs in a vacuum. Sin by anyone in the body of Christ will impact the body if not responded to biblically by the person who sinned and those who have been sinned against. Two primary principles that must be remembered and lived out by every believer include the fact that someone else's sin never frustrates God's plan for my life and someone else's sin is never an excuse for me to sin. How we respond when sinned against reveal the condition of our heart and showing kindness and mercy to a repentant sinner is an opportunity to demonstrate the character of Christ being produced in our life. Godly forgiveness according to the bible has not limits, keeps no record, and never forgets the greatness of God's forgiveness granted to the one now in position to be forgiving.
