The Grief and Grace of God

The grief of God stems from the compromise of man. That compromise is communicated through three great controversies in our text: 1) The identity of the sons of God; 2) The referent for 120 years; 3) The identity of the giants on the earth. The grief of God is stated for the comprehension of man. Did God repent? How can He be sorrowful? But God leaves us with hope in this passage. Hope comes through the grace of God.
