Divine Preparation

Gideon did not realize he was a mighty man of valor. He built an altar to the Lord and called it "The Lord is peace." Gideon was to take down his father's altar of Baal and ironically it is his father who defends him. We are challenged to take down the altars in our lives and examine whether we believe in the spiritual power of God.
