Diets, Days and Defrauding

In this message we will see some of the details of the Colossians heresy. The false teachers about whom Paul was concerned were claiming that the believers needed to add actions to their faith, in particular following different aspects of the Mosaic Law. Here, we will look into the importance of relying on faith alone for salvation, and, importantly, for our spirituality as well. We should not fall prey to doing good works in order to prove our spirituality to others. This idea is important because in the future we will be judged by Christ about our beliefs concerning Christ, and how we lived our lives in light of what we thought about Christ.
