They Parted from One Another

In this passage, the encouragement that the church at Jerusalem was received with joy and Judas and Silas built up an encouraged the church in Antioch. We hear about how the church there continues to grow in knowledge. Afterwards, we see the humanity of Paul and Barnabas as in preparing to visit the churches that were planted in Asia, they have a heated disagreement about whether to take Mark with them. They end up going separate ways. God used their disagreement for good however as Paul later describes Mark as "useful to me for ministry." We should rejoice that God is able to use men that still have an old man and also to remember that every man that God uses still wrestles with a body of death.
