A Gift for the Gleaner

In the Old Testament God gives instruction in the law to insure the right of poor men and women to glean the corners and edges of harvested fields. If a bundle of grain was left it must not be retrieved. The beneficiaries of this law were the widows, the poor, and the orphans in the land. In like manner does Christ our Kinsman-Redeemer bless His people with grace and glory and goodness from His merciful hand.
