Judgments Parallel the Plagues GR841

We are focusing our attention on the future display of God's wrath that will take place on this earth, that 7 year tribulation, to be preceded by the removal of all true believers from the earth. During this time, God will not only be pouring out His wrath upon sinful men, he will also be preparing the nation Israel to repent of their sin and turn to Jesus as their Messiah. As we move through the 7-year period that we call the tribulation, that will climax with the return of Christ to earth in Revelation 19, the judgements that God pours out become progressively more severe. Portions of the earth experience the display of His wrath, but He doesn't destroy all the earth at once. And with each judgement that is poured out, men and women are confronted with the reality of the wrath of God against sin, and thus given opportunity to repent of their sin. Cast themselves upon the mercy of God and believe in His son, Jesus Christ, who died for them.
