The Rope of Hope

A gospel sermon from the account of Rahab.

The word 'line' in the passage comes from the root word for 'hope' as it has been translated elsewhere - thus 'the rope of hope'.

1 Truth should be 100%. A debate iro Rahab's lie about where the spies were hidden;

2 God's people should have a good testimony/reputation - as the Children of Israel did at this time;

3 See the simple means of salvation; She heard the word of God, she believed it, she sought salvation and obeyed the word.

4 The outcome in Rahab's life. She was saved and protected as well being in the lineage of Messiah.
